Myssie began working as a file clerk and runner for Stewart Title and Hidalgo County Abstract and Title Company. 在大学期间, she was recruited by the University to work for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. Myssie is equally involved in her real estate community. She has been a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors®, instructs classes on social media practices designed specifically for Realtors®, has lobbied at the State Capitol for various bills that would impact real estate development in the Rio Grande Valley, has been a member of the Board for the Greater McAllen Association of Realtors, Vice-President of NAHREP TxRGV and also sits as Chairperson for the TEXAS REALTORS® Diversity Committee. and was honored as being named REALTOR OF THE YEAR for 2022. She also sits as a member of the Federal Financing and Housing Committee for NAR and is a member of he NARLA Class of 2023.
